SEATTLE, Feb. 4, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Global biopharmaceutical contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO)AGC Biologicsand Trefoil Therapeutics announced the execution of a manufacturing contract to supply its lead product, TTHX1114. Trefoil is developing this engineered form of FGF-1 to restore vision in patients with corneal diseases by regenerating corneal tissue.
After a three-month selection process, Trefoil Therapeutics selected AGC Biologics for its deep technical expertise and proven capabilities in cGMP manufacturing of protein therapeutics from preclinical through commercial production.
