Liquid Biopsy Solution for Panoramic Variant Analysis

TruSight™ Oncology 500 ctDNA (TSO500 ctDNA) is a liquid biopsy product launched by Illumina for comprehensive genomic profiling (CGP). It can serve as a complement to tissue-based testing results and as an alternative when tissue samples are unavailable.

TSO500 ctDNA utilizes Illumina’s mature hybrid capture technology, enabling customers to detect 523 genes in circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) from cell-free DNA (cfDNA) samples. It allows for the simultaneous assessment of various variant types in a single assay, including SNVs, insertions and deletions (Indels), CNVs, gene rearrangements, as well as complex tumor immunology-related biomarkers such as TMB and MSI.

The TSO500 ctDNA library was run on the NovaSeq™ 6000 sequencer, providing maximum sequencing capacity and throughput flexibility, enabling high-depth sequencing to enhance the sensitivity for detecting low-frequency variants.

DRAGEN™ TruSight Oncology 500 ctDNA Software automatically performs error correction and noise reduction, removing germline variants and clonal hematopoiesis variants to enable accurate TMB detection.

TruSight Oncology 500 ctDNA offers a trusted solution for comprehensive variant profiling from plasma samples in a single assay, meeting the needs of precision medicine.
