Remdesivir May Enter Mainland China via Contract Manufacturing Arrangement

According to China Securities Journal, patent licensing is not currently under consideration by Gilead Sciences. In mainland China, Gilead may adopt a contract manufacturing approach, whereby it provides active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and manufacturing processes to its partners for local production. Both parties have currently reached an agreement in principle to collaborate.
