Effective April 27, 2020, Geoff Martha, former Global President and Board Member of Medtronic, officially assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer of Medtronic. Omar Ishrak, former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Medtronic, stepped down as CEO to become Global Executive Chairman of Medtronic, while continuing to serve as Chairman.
