On May 16, healthcare company Abbott told reporters from Securities Daily that the company will participate in the third China International Import Expo to be held in Shanghai from November 5 to 10.

Exhibitor recruitment for the Corporate Business Exhibition at the 3rd China International Import Expo (CIIE) is entering its final sprint, with some exhibition zones having already achieved their recruitment targets ahead of schedule. As a “new friend,” Abbott will showcase its innovative products and healthcare solutions covering all stages of life on an exhibition booth spanning over 600 square meters.

At the newly established “Public Health and Epidemic Prevention” zone of this year’s CIIE, Abbott will also showcase a series of innovative solutions—including advanced COVID-19 testing, medical nutrition products, and diabetes management technologies—that have been widely applied in the global fight against the pandemic.

According to reports, at the third China International Import Expo (CIIE), Abbott will showcase multiple innovations and industry-leading solutions across its diagnostics, medical devices, nutrition, and pharmaceuticals portfolios. These include the Alinity ci series of personalized laboratory solutions, which help medical laboratories and healthcare institutions comprehensively and quantifiably enhance their medical performance management; the FreeStyle Libre flash glucose monitoring technology, offering innovative solutions for patients with diabetes and their physicians; and scientific nutrition products covering the entire lifecycle. Notably, Abbott’s IDNOW point-of-care testing system, which is rapid, portable, and particularly suitable for frontline COVID-19 testing, and the CardioMEMS implantable heart failure monitoring sensor system, which provides cardiologists with long-term, comprehensive pulmonary artery pressure records remotely, are not yet available in the Chinese market.

Abbott currently operates 23 offices, four manufacturing facilities, three R&D centers, two training centers, and one customer experience center in China.
