Merck’s newly established M Lab™ Collaboration Center is located in Pudong, the hub of biomedical science and research in Shanghai, with a total laboratory area of approximately 10,000 square meters.
The newly established M Lab™ Collaboration Center in Shanghai offers customized solutions tailored for China’s life sciences sector to help advance drug development. The new center features lab-scale and process development support laboratories, providing non-GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) laboratory space where pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical manufacturers can explore ideas, learn innovative technologies, and work side-by-side with Merck scientists and engineers to address critical process development and manufacturing challenges. Customers can participate in product demonstrations, hands-on training, formal bioprocessing educational courses and experiments, and apply best practices and novel approaches to develop, optimize, and scale up processes, as well as streamline global technology transfer.
