Baseline Medicine and Johnson & Johnson Lung Cancer Center Announce Strategic Collaboration on Early-Stage Lung Cancer Diagnostic Research

On July 17, 2020, Guangzhou AnchorDx Medical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “AnchorDx”) and the Johnson & Johnson Lung Cancer Center announced a multi-year collaboration in the field of early diagnosis of lung cancer, jointly advancing research on the detection and diagnosis of early-stage lung cancer. This collaboration was facilitated by Janssen Innovative Medicine.

This four-year study is led by Academician Zhong Nanshan, a world-renowned expert in respiratory diseases, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Director of the National Clinical Research Center for Respiratory Diseases, and Professor of the Department of Respiratory Medicine at the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University. The study plans to enroll more than 3,000 patients with pulmonary nodules, with continuous follow-up for three years. During this period, patient blood samples, tissue samples, CT/LDCT imaging data, and pathological information will be collected.
