YiOu Health reported on the 21st,InflazomeAnnounced that a share purchase agreement has been reached with Roche; Inflazome’s shareholders will receive an upfront payment of €380 million and will be eligible for additional milestone payments.
Inflazome, a biotechnology company headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, was founded in 2016 by medical researchers Matt Cooper (University of Queensland, Australia) and Luke O’Neill (Trinity College Dublin, Ireland). The company is dedicated to the development of novel therapeutics targeting the inflammasome. Previously, Inflazome secured €55 million in funding from investors including Forbion, Longitude Capital, Fountain Healthcare Partners, and the Novartis Venture Fund.
