From November 11 to 14, the 2nd World Health Expo opened in Wuhan. The theme of this Health Expo is “Health Community, Technology Creates the Future,” with an exhibition area of 140,000 square meters and more than 1,200 enterprises and institutions participating, includingGeneral Electric、Philips, Siemens,Johnson & Johnson、PfizerFortune Global 500 and China Top 500 companies in the broader health industry.
This edition of the Health Expo features 12 specialized pavilions and off-site special exhibitions, focusing on key areas such as anti-epidemic supplies, medical devices, biochemical pharmaceuticals, medical technology, international elderly care, traditional Chinese medicine and herbal remedies, health finance, health management, and healthy lifestyles. It aims to build a global platform for showcasing and interacting within the broader health industry, highlighting new technologies, products, and trends in the global health sector.

At the event, Zhuoer Intelligent Manufacturing Group unveiled its eight major product lines—temperature measurement systems, protective equipment, unmanned pharmacies, health beverages, intelligent equipment, medical robots, medical devices, and transport vehicles—in a grand display, showcasing the latest achievements in applying technologies such as optoelectronics, thermal imaging, automated control, artificial intelligence, big data, and the Internet of Things to the healthcare sector.
The on-site manager of Zhuoer Intelligent introduced that a high-speed fully automatic intelligent mask-making machine can produce 100,000 flat masks per day. The more complex KN95 fully automatic mask-making machine can also produce 60,000 masks daily.
Winner MedicalExhibited anti-epidemic souvenirs such as the “hand-painted protective suits by the Shandong Medical Team.” According to reports, by the end of September, Winner Medical had cumulatively supplied approximately 2 billion masks of various types and nearly 60 million pieces of protective suits and surgical gowns to domestic and international markets.
Mindray Medical brought in the SV300 ventilator, a multi-functional device. According to a company representative, this portable ventilator, which can be carried by medical staff, has played a significant role in various settings—from the ICUs of Huoshenshan and Leishenshan Hospitals, to temporarily converted isolation wards, designated hospitals, and during patient transport.

It is reported that in June this year, construction officially commenced on Mindray’s Wuhan base. With a total investment of RMB 4.5 billion, the facility will become Mindray’s second global headquarters upon completion. Chen Dongsheng, Chairman of Taikang Insurance Group, pointed out that in the past, there were many specialized expos in the big health sector, such as those for medical devices and pharmaceuticals. However, by treating it as a major industry and hosting a global expo dedicated to big health, Wuhan has seized the initiative and made a strong start.
Chen Dongsheng believes that the internet, artificial intelligence, and life sciences are the three major directions influencing future human development. "Two trends will shape development over the next 20 to 30 years: technology and data, and health and longevity. Enterprises must embrace data.
