• The QuickFire Challenge aims to encourage innovators to submit novel medical device concepts for the diagnosis, perioperative management, and emerging technologies in the fields of atrial fibrillation treatment, neurovascular therapy, and general and orthopedic surgery, with the potential to transform patient care.

• Winners will receive a cash prize of up to $100,000, gain residency at JLABS @ Shanghai, and receive expert mentorship from Johnson & Johnson and its subsidiaries.

Johnson & Johnson Innovation and Johnson & Johnson Medical (Shanghai) Ltd. announced today the launch of the Future Digital Technology QuickFire Challenge, aimed at identifying and advancing cutting-edge early-stage digital innovations to bring potentially transformative technologies to patients in need.

The Challenge is open to aspiring individuals worldwide, encouraging them to submit solutions that can be used for perioperative treatment plans,Diagnosisand the novelty of emerging technologiesMedical DevicesThese ideas or products have the potential to transform patient care in atrial fibrillation treatment, neurovascular therapy, general surgery, and orthopedic surgery.

Innovators who propose the most promising solutions in artificial intelligence, 3D printing, the Internet of Things (IoT), 5G, and other fields can receive up to $100,000 in R&D funding, a one-year residency at JLABS @ Shanghai (including a dedicated studio and access to the JLABS ecosystem), and expert mentorship from Johnson & Johnson and its subsidiaries.

The QuickFire Challenge platform is designed to encourage students, entrepreneurs, researchers, and startups to address some of the most challenging issues in global healthcare, thereby empowering and enabling breakthrough scientific and health solutions.
