China is one of the countries with high exposure levels to stroke risk factors globally, with a prevalence rate of 1.5%. According to an analysis report published in *The Lancet Neurology*, there were 13.7 million new cases of stroke worldwide in 2016, of which China accounted for 40%; globally, there were 5.5 million deaths from stroke, with China accounting for one-third. Each year, more than 3 million people suffer from acute ischemic stroke, and 1.8 million patients die from stroke.

The most common cause of stroke is the presence of small emboli on the inner walls of cerebral blood vessels, which detach and lead to arterial embolism, resulting in ischemic stroke. It may also be caused by hemorrhage from cerebral blood vessels or thrombi, resulting in hemorrhagic stroke.85% of strokes are ischemic strokes, and vascular recanalization with reperfusion is currently the optimal treatment modality.Including intravenous thrombolysis and arterial thrombectomy. In 2015, China and the United States updated their guidelines for the management of ischemic stroke.Stent retriever thrombectomy was elevated to the highest level of recommendation and listed by the Cleveland Clinic as"Top 10 Medical Technology Innovations of 2016"

Skynor Medical has initially established a relatively comprehensive portfolio of neurointerventional product solutions. For ischemic stroke, the company’s most advanced products include thrombectomy devices and intracranial balloon dilation catheters. Access products encompass distal access catheters, microcatheters, and balloon guide catheters. Products for hemorrhagic stroke, such as intracranial flow diverters and intracranial aneurysm stents, are also being rapidly developed. The aforementioned ischemia-related products and access-related products are expected to receive certification in the first half of 2021.

On the other hand, the incidence of peripheral vascular disease remains high, while treatment rates are relatively low. China currently has up to 40 million patients with arteriosclerosis obliterans of the lower extremities, and the incidence of other arterial and venous diseases is continuously rising due to changes in lifestyle and work habits. According to Frost & Sullivan data, the market size of peripheral vascular interventional medical devices in China grew from RMB 1.7 billion in 2013 to RMB 3.01 billion in 2017, representing a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 15.4%. The market is expected to reach RMB 7.12 billion by 2022, with a CAGR of 18.8% from 2018 to 2022, indicating rapid development.

Among Skynor Medical's peripheral interventional products, its independently developed next-generation peripheral vascular stent is undergoing multicenter controlled clinical trials, with preliminary clinical results demonstrating excellent performance. Several other interventional products,Peripheral Balloon Dilatation CatheterNMPA Certified, PTA Balloon Dilatation Catheter is expected in 2021YearFebruaryCertified.

In terms of the team, R&D personnel account for 80% of the company's total workforce, with over 15 years of experience in the field of neurovascular and peripheral interventions. As the founder of Skynor Medical, Zhao Zhenxin boasts an impressive background. He previously served as Co-founder and Vice President of Technology at Peijia Medical (HK09996), where he led the development of multiple innovative interventional devices, including the TaurusOne transcatheter aortic valve. This product received special approval as an innovative medical device from the China National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) and successfully completed domestic multicenter clinical trials, demonstrating outstanding follow-up efficacy.

Skynor Medical aggregates high-quality industrial shareholder resources to accelerate the commercialization of its products. In 2018, Sinopharm Capital completed Series A investment in Skynor Medical. Leveraging the platform advantages of the Sinopharm Group, it provided post-investment value-added services across three dimensions—team building, regulatory registration, and sales—thereby achieving strategic synergy.
