Jim Jin Appointed as Gilead's Global Vice President and General Manager for China

Today, Gilead Sciences issued an internal email announcing that Jin Fangqian will join the company on March 8 as Vice President, Global, and General Manager, China.

Jin Fangqian previously served as General Manager of Abbott’s pharmaceutical business in China before joining Gilead Sciences. Prior to Jin Fangqian joining Gilead, Luo Yongqing served as the General Manager of Gilead China. Luo announced his resignation in August 2020, with his last working day at Gilead being September 10. Thereafter, Jacopo Andreose, Senior Vice President of Global Intercontinental Operations at Gilead, temporarily assumed responsibility for the China team and business.
