In connection with this collaboration, Precision Scientific will leverage its independently developedAIBERT®: An AI-Powered Big Data Mining Platform for Tumor Multi-Omics(AI-driven Big data analytics for Effective Response of cancer Therapy),Multidimensional integrated analysis of genomic, functional genomic, and pharmacogenomic data using deep learning algorithms to support precision medicine and the translational development of innovative drugs.In recent years, Precision Scientific has collaborated with multiple top-tier pharmaceutical companies, fully demonstrating the company’s “data-driven R&D” philosophy and showcasing the value that AIBERT can deliver to its pharmaceutical partners.
BioMap will leverage its independently developedBioMap HOPE Multi-Omics Intelligent Platform(Human Omics Precision Ecosystem),Providing world-leading, cutting-edge omics services to clinical oncology experts, the platform leverages a self-developed high-performance bio-computing engine to significantly enhance the mining efficiency of massive, multi-axial, heterogeneous biological data.By leveraging in-house R&D and ecosystem partnerships, we integrate a variety of cutting-edge advanced omics technologies to provide users with multi-omics services characterized by “underlying technology agnosticism,” “intelligent analysis,” and “multi-omics integration.” This empowers clinical experts to efficiently gain insights at the single-cell level and across multiple dimensions, including spatial transcriptomics and epigenomics, significantly accelerating the process of enabling clinical practice with frontier omics technologies.
In addition to providing its capability platform, BioMap will establish a special fund within its newly launched RMB 1 billion Multi-Omics Research Excellence Grant Program to provide financial support and free technical services for the clinical projects undertaken in collaboration with both parties., to further increase investment in research projects, expand the sample size and data dimensions of the projects, and facilitate the translation of research findings into practical applications.
Notably, this strategic partnership marks a significant step forward in the collaboration between the two parties on large-scale multi-omics data mining, following Precision Scientific’s receipt of Series A+ investment in Q3 2020 from BioMap’s predecessor, the Baidu Ventures Biomedical Investment Team. Currently, Precision Scientific has established long-term collaborations with dozens of large, R&D-focused pharmaceutical companies both in China and abroad. Leveraging its independently developed omics data mining system, AIBERT, the company provides decision support for new drug development. Building on this foundation, Precision Scientific offers end-to-end, one-stop services to pharmaceutical partners, covering exploratory research, central laboratory services, companion diagnostic development, and “diagnostic/therapeutic synergy,” thereby efficiently empowering its collaborative partners.
