Xi'an Janssen Establishes New Neuroscience, Anti-Infectives and Vaccines Business Unit; Wang Yu Promoted to Vice President

According to a WeChat public account, yesterday, Xian Janssen President An Sijia announced to employees the integration and establishment of a new Neuroscience, Anti-Infectives, and Vaccines Business Unit, and promoted Wang Yu to Vice President, who will serve as the head of this business unit, reporting directly to Xian Janssen President An Sijia. This appointment is effective from March 10.

It is reported that this business unit will focus on a diversified product portfolio and innovative business models, integrating the former Psychiatry Business Unit, Neuroscience Business Unit, and Anti-Infectives Business Unit, along with the soon-to-be-established Vaccine Business Unit. Zhang Chunhai, current head of the Neuroscience Business Unit; Zhang Ru, head of the Psychiatry Business Unit; Wang Hongyuan, head of Marketing for the Anti-Infectives Business Unit; and Wan Jian, head of Sales, will all report directly to Wang Yu.

It is reported that Wang Yu previously served as Product Manager and Deputy Business Director at GlaxoSmithKline and Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. In January 2013, Wang Yu joined Xian Janssen as Director of the Immunology Marketing Department.
