Brooke Story Departs Medtronic's Pelvic Health and GI Therapies to Lead BD's Integrated Diagnostic Solutions

On March 30, according to foreign media outlets such as Fierce Pharma, Brooke Story, President of Pelvic Health and Stomach Therapies at Medtronic, announced her departure and will join BD as Global President of Integrated Diagnostic Solutions, effective April 5.

BD has announced the appointment of Brooke Story as President of BD Integrated Diagnostic Solutions. Reportedly, Brooke Story joined Medtronic in 2006, where she served as Vice President of Sales for multiple divisions. She also held the position of Director of Corporate Development, responsible for evaluating, negotiating, and executing investments and acquisitions.

According to previous public statements by Medtronic CEO Geoff Martha, Medtronic is undergoing restructuring to gain a competitive edge over its peers. The personnel change involving Brooke Story may well be part of this corporate architecture adjustment.
