Almac Discovery Appoints New Chief Medical and Financial Officers

Recently, Jiangsu Alphamab Biopharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. announced the appointment of Dr. Johannes Nippgen, former Head of Merck KGaA’s China R&D Center, as Chief Medical Officer (CMO), and Mr. Xu Weihao as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Both will report to Dr. Xu Ting, Chairman and President of Alphamab Oncology.

Upon joining Jiangsu Alphamab Biopharmaceuticals Co., Ltd, Johannes Nippgen oversees the global clinical development and translational research of the company’s innovative product pipeline, while Xu Weihao is responsible for financial management, capital market strategy formulation, and investor relations.

It is understood that prior to joining Alphamab, Johannes Nippgen served as the Head of China R&D Center at Merck Biopharma.Xu Weihao has also served as Chief Financial Officer at CASI Pharmaceuticals and 111 Inc. (1 Drug Network), among other positions.
