(BIORAY LABORATORIES Inc.) announced the appointment ofDr. Gao Yang serves as Senior Vice President (Sr. VP & Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), fully responsible for the construction of the company’s strategic framework, assisting the CEO in the efficient execution of corporate strategy, while overseeing Regulatory Affairs, Portfolio Strategy & Management, and Drug Development & Commercialization to rapidly translate cutting-edge technologies into pharmaceutical products; reports to Mr. Xi Zaixi, CEO of the company.

Dr. Yang GaoDr. Gao Yang holds a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutics and a Ph.D. in Pharmacokinetics from China Pharmaceutical University. He possesses extensive and comprehensive experience in drug development and commercialization, regulatory strategy, and quality systems. Dr. Gao served for eight years as a technical reviewer at the Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE) of the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) of China. Subsequently, he spent four years at Eli Lilly and Company as the Head of Regulatory CMC and Medical Devices, while concurrently serving as the Rotating Chair of the RDPAC CMC Committee. He also held the position of Director of Regulatory Affairs at Ascentage Pharma (Suzhou), where he formulated and executed R&D and registration strategies for both the Chinese and U.S. markets. Prior to joining BRL Medicine, Dr. Gao served as Principal Drug Development and Regulatory Consultant at PAREXEL, providing regulatory and R&D consulting services to biopharmaceutical companies domestically and internationally. He has actively explored, invested in, and practiced the application of artificial intelligence and digital technologies to empower drug research and development. Dr. Gao has published numerous professional articles in authoritative journals, including the Chinese Journal of New Drugs and Bioorganic & Medicinal Chemistry.
