BEYOND Expo 2026 Successfully Concludes in Macao with Focus on 'AI: Digital-Physical Integration'

From May 27 to 30, the highly anticipated 6th BEYOND International Science and Technology Innovation Expo (BEYOND Expo 2026) was grandly held in Macau.

 

This conference is themed“AI: Digital-Physical Symbiosis” serves as the theme, focusing on the industrial progression of artificial intelligence from digital systems into the physical world. Discussions center on embodied intelligence, robotics, spatial computing, AI agents, open ecosystems, and global capital, highlighting new advancements in the accelerated integration of AI into industrial applications and the real world.

 

Over the four-day conference period,BEYOND Expo 2026Attracting from Around the WorldWith over 30,000 attendees from more than 120 countries and regions, including a 40% share of overseas participants, the exhibition brought together nearly 800 exhibiting companies, 30% of which were from abroad. This transformed the Macau venue into a dynamic tech hub featuring corporate showcases, product experiences, industry discussions, and international exchanges.

1Stars Shine Bright: Grand Opening Ceremony Unveils a New Chapter in “Digital-Physical Symbiosis”


On the afternoon of May 27, the opening ceremony of BEYOND Expo 2026 attracted over 1,000 attendees from China, South Korea, Southeast Asia, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Brazil, the European Union, and other countries and regions. The participants included corporate executives, entrepreneurial leaders, representatives from investment institutions, local government officials, international partners, and media personnel, creating a global innovation exchange platform that spans across regions, industries, and ecosystems.

 

He Houhua, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference; Ho Iat Seng, Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region (Fifth Term); Ho Ian Sang, Vice President of the Legislative Assembly of the Macao Special Administrative Region; and Choi Sai Cheong, President of the Macau Chamber of Commerce, attended the opening ceremony as non-voting delegates.

From chips and hardware to Physical AI, digital intelligence requires a physical foundation capable of hosting and fabricating it to truly transition into the real world.

Regional exhibition delegations from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, including Shenzhen Nanshan, Shenzhen Longgang, Zhuhai High-Tech Zone, and Hengqin, together withThe exhibition matrix within the zone was jointly formed by the NVIDIA Pavilion, the Lenovo Innovation Accelerator Pavilion, the Qingzhi Incubator Joint Exhibition, the South Korea Pavilion, and others. Live robot demonstrations, AI glasses and smart terminal experiences, eVTOL and unmanned systems, health and beauty technology, cultural-tech interactive content, along with the sports-tech interactive experience brought by the NBA booth, continued to attract attendees, industry partners, media, and corporate representatives to stop and engage across various booths.

VCBeat observed that medical innovation enterprises, including Yaosu Technology with its AI for 3D Biology platform, Zuo Dian Technology, which recently received the “world’s first medical device certification for software-fitted hearing aids,” and Xirun Medical, a leading domestic enterprise in brain-computer interface rehabilitation, made their debut at the exhibition. These companies showcased China’s latest breakthroughs in medical innovation to the frontline ecosystem of AI and hard-tech industries.
