Recently, Dr. Ying Bo, founder of Abogen Biosciences (Suzhou), revealed that the novel coronavirus mRNA vaccine (ARCoV), jointly developed by Abogen Biosciences, the Academy of Military Sciences’ Institute of Military Medicine, and Yunnan Walvax Biotechnology, has entered the final stage of Phase II clinical trials, with all progress proceeding smoothly. In May, the company will collaborate closely with Tigermed to conduct overseas Phase III clinical trials. Starting from the third quarter of 2021, annual production capacity will reach 120 million doses, with export-oriented multi-dose vial capacity amounting to hundreds of millions of doses, thereby achieving a breakthrough from “zero” for China’s mRNA vaccines.
