Macao SAR Government Suspends AstraZeneca Vaccine Supply with Manufacturer's Consent

On April 15, according to a report by TDM Macau, Lo Iek Long, Director of the Health Bureau of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government, stated that the SAR government had requested AstraZeneca, the vaccine manufacturer, to temporarily suspend vaccine supplies to Macau, and the company had agreed. The SAR government will review additional international reports and studies on vaccine safety, as well as policy recommendations from various regions, before comprehensively analyzing the situation and determining the next steps.
