The two parties will leverage their respective strengths in clinical diagnostics and pharmaceutical development to jointly build a talent exchange and collaboration platform for the greater health ecosystem, thereby promoting innovative development in the greater health industry.

Breaking Boundaries: Accelerating Talent Exchange and Collaboration

As “Healthy China” has been elevated to a national strategy and epidemic prevention and control have become normalized, the general health industry is witnessing unprecedented development and transformation. This trend also reflects changes in the demand for talent in the general health sector, with an increasing number of enterprises urgently needing more cross-disciplinary and diversified talents to inject new momentum into the innovative development of the industry under the new circumstances.

At the signing ceremony, Dr. Jiang Zhiming stated, “Over the past year, we have embarked on a strategic collaboration with AstraZeneca to jointly promote disease and health management solutions within the industry. We hope that by establishing a platform for strategic talent partnerships, we can advance the diversified development of future industrial talent capabilities and contribute to ‘Healthy China.’”

Ms. Yin Min stated, “Each company is like a brick; to build a solid Great Wall, cross-disciplinary talents must serve as the mortar between these bricks. We hope to deepen talent exchange and collaboration with Beckman Coulter in the future, and we welcome more outstanding professionals to join our cross-disciplinary talent cooperation strategy.”

Beckman Coulter and AstraZeneca will leverage their respective talent advantages to build a comprehensive health ecosystem, fostering cross-disciplinary talent exchange and communication across broader fields and at deeper levels, thereby jointly benefiting patients and creating mutual success.

A2 Everyone Healthy China Public Welfare Campaign

The “Healthy China 2030” Planning Outline explicitly states that screening and early detection of chronic diseases should be strengthened, with early diagnosis and treatment initiatives implemented for key cancers in high-incidence areas, and opportunistic screening promoted for chronic conditions such as cancer, stroke, and coronary heart disease. Basic universal coverage of management and intervention for patients with hypertension and diabetes should be achieved, and appropriate technologies for the early diagnosis and treatment of major chronic diseases, including cancer and stroke, that meet established criteria should be gradually incorporated into routine clinical practice.

To enhance public awareness of cancer prevention and control across society, the China Social Assistance Foundation launched the “Public Welfare Mobile Screening Initiative for Five Diseases and Five Cancers,” with its launch ceremony held at this conference. Dr. Jiang Zhiming, Global Vice President and General Manager of Greater China at Beckman Coulter, attended the ceremony as a project supporter.

“Mobile Public Welfare Screening Initiative for Five Diseases and Five Cancers” utilizes mobile health screening vehicles as its platform to conduct preventive screening, early diagnosis, and early treatment for five diseases (hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and chronic kidney disease) and five cancers (lung cancer, breast cancer, gastric cancer, liver cancer, and prostate cancer), with a focus on alleviating critical public health concerns.

The screening vehicle is fully covered with 5G network and equipped with various devices, including the Beckman Coulter Access2 immunoassay system, low-dose spiral CT, ultrasound, and intelligent AI film reader. It can perform multiple tests such as B-ultrasound, CT scans, blood draws, and urine analysis. Results are available on-site, and all data can be directly transmitted to the physicians present at the scene.

Joining Hands to Support Healthy China, Co-Creating a Prosperous Medical Ecosystem

In the new landscape, public demand in the health and medical sector is growing increasingly. Only by building a robust partner community can these public needs be met. At the conference, Beckman Coulter was awarded the “Best Business Partner Award,” which not only affirms the collaborative relationship between Beckman Coulter and AstraZeneca but also marks another elevation of their strategic win-win partnership.

Beckman Coulter remains committed to leveraging its technological R&D and innovation advantages in China, striving to build a collaborative platform with healthcare enterprises to foster a new health ecosystem. Looking ahead, Beckman Coulter will continue to pursue win-win cooperation across multiple stakeholders, harnessing the power of its ecosystem to drive industry development and support the “Healthy China” initiative.
