Occlutech Announces New Board Members and Leadership Appointment Ahead of IPO

Schaffhausen, Switzerland, May 3, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Occlutech Holding AG (BelowAbbreviation“Occlutech”) Announced today that Marianne Dicander Alexandersson, Mette-Marie Harild, Helena Levander, and Michel Lussier have been elected as members of the Occlutech Board of Directors. At the Annual General Meeting held on June 18, 2021, Marianne Dicander Alexandersson will be nominated as Chair of the Occlutech Board of Directors.

Marianne Dicander Alexandersson is Swedish and a board professional. She currently serves as Chair of the Board for Saminvest AB and Sahlgrenska Science Park AB, and is a board member of Linc AB and Promore Pharma AB. She is also a member of the Advisory Committee of the Dental and Pharmaceutical Benefits Agency (TLV).

Mette-Marie HarildWhenElected as a Member of the Board of Directors 

Mette-Marie Harild is a Danish national and a seasoned veteran in the medical device industry, with over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. She previously held sales and marketing positions at Rhone Poulenc and Janssen Pharma. Additionally, she served as Regional Vice President at Medtronic A/S for 13 years, overseeing various regions.

Helena LevanderWhenElected as a Member of the Board of Directors

Helena Levander is a Swedish national and a board professional with 20 years of experience in the banking and financial sectors, as well as in corporate governance and board work in Sweden and Norway. She serves on the boards of Stendörren Fastigheter, Rejlers, Concordia Maritime, Lannebo Fonder, and Factoringgruppen.

Michel LussierWhenElected as a Member of the Board of Directors 

Michel Lussier is a Canadian citizen and an experienced serial entrepreneur in medical technology and cell therapy. He has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Celyad Oncology SA, iSTAR Medical SA, and Gabi Smartcare SA. He worked at Medtronic Inc. for 15 years and spent 10 years at Volcano Corp., where he served as Group President.
