Neuralink Announces First Human Receives Brain Implant, Patient Recovering Well

On January 30, Musk announced on the social platform X that the first human had received an implant from brain-computer interface company Neuralink the previous day and was recovering well. Preliminary results showed promising performance in neuron spike detection.

Currently, thousands of people are queuing up, hoping to receive brain implants from Neuralink, the brain-computer interface company under Elon Musk. This information was revealed by biographer Ashley Vance at the end of 2023.

It is reported that Neuralink Corp. expects its annual revenue to reach as high as $100 million within five years. In early 2023, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved Neuralink to conduct human trials of its device, and by September 2023, the company had begun recruiting volunteers for its first-in-human trial.
