Hospital Project
On April 17, the Shanghai Minhang District Planning and Natural Resources Bureau issued a Land Use Pre-examination and Site Selection Opinion for the project named “Fudan University Shanghai Medical College Hongqiao Campus.” The opinion disclosed that the proposed land area for the project is 31,078.57 square meters. According to the site selection details, the new campus is located in Huacao Town, Minhang District, bounded by Jitan Road to the east, the land use red line to the south, Leshan Road to the west, and Jihong Road to the north.
As the first national regional medical center for traditional Chinese medicine in Sichuan Province, the Deyang Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine is currently racing against time to accelerate construction and is expected to officially commence operations in December this year. Located on the south side of the intersection of Jiulongjiang Road and Yushan Street in Deyang City, the project has a total investment of 1.854 billion yuan and a total floor area of 195,000 square meters. It comprises a medical complex, inpatient building, outpatient building, science and education building, and infectious disease building, with 1,000 inpatient beds and a designed daily outpatient and emergency visit capacity of 2,000 patients.
Recently, the Chengdu Shuangliu Asia-Pacific Heart Center Hospital, constructed by China Construction Third Engineering Bureau, was officially put into operation. Located in Shuangliu District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, the project was built in accordance with the standards for Grade A tertiary hospitals. The hospital campus covers a total land area of approximately 28.7 mu, with a total construction area of 71,000 square meters. It has a planned capacity of 310 beds, with 150 beds opened in Phase I. The facility includes departments such as outpatient and emergency services, specialized cardiac wards, cardiac intensive care units (CICU), and cardiopulmonary function testing centers. It is also equipped with multiple cardiac surgery operating rooms and interventional catheterization laboratories, enabling it to perform various types of cardiac interventional and surgical procedures.
On April 23, the main structure of the Wuxi Medical and Health Industrial Park (Municipal Women and Children’s Center) project was fully topped out, marking the official entry into the phase of mechanical and electrical installation and decoration works.
Wuxi Medical and Health Industrial Park features 1,500 planned beds and 3,100 parking spaces. It is an international TOD-integrated health and medical park designed as a circular, full-life-cycle health hub covering the entire spectrum from birth to reproduction. The project comprises four sub-level medical parks and nine disciplinary centers. The comprehensive building consists of four main towers and podium structures, with a total architectural height of 55.5 meters, including 10 above-ground floors and 2 basement levels. Its gross floor area is approximately 379,000 square meters. Upon completion, it will serve as the primary facility for the hospital’s core operations. The basement, with a floor area of 160,000 square meters, mainly houses logistical support facilities, civil defense centers, utility rooms, transportation connection areas, and parking garages.
On April 24, the Longwan District Government Information Office held a press conference on the opening of the new campus of Longwan District First People's Hospital and the optimization of medical resource distribution in the urban area. At the conference, it was announced that the new campus of Longwan District First People's Hospital would officially open and commence full operations on April 27. Construction of the new hospital project commenced in August 2020, with a total investment of 1.155 billion yuan, a total floor area of 115,000 square meters, and a planned capacity of 400 beds.
