Last WeekNeuralink has just officially announced the completion of its $650 million Series E financing, led byInvested by institutions including ARK Invest, DFJ Growth, Founders Fund, G42, Human Capital, Lightspeed, QIA, Sequoia Capital, Thrive Capital, Valor Equity Partners, and Vy Capital.

The rapid launch of a new funding round underscores the high cash-burn rate of brain-computer interface (BCI) ventures. In the future, competition in the BCI field will depend not only on technological prowess but also on financial strength.

Neuralink's Past Fundraising

2025Neuralink's valuation is$9 billion (approximately RMB 65.2 billion), financing$650 million (Approximately RMBRMB 4.35 billion)。

In 2023, Neuralink was valued at $5 billion (approximately RMB 36.2 billion), but the company continued to secure financing. In August 2023, Musk announced that Neuralink had raised $280 million (approximately RMB 2.03 billion). A few months later, Neuralink raised an additional $43 million (approximately RMB 310 million).

Brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) are currently one of the hottest niche segments in the medical device market. Overseas analysts believe this market holds $400 billion (approximately RMB 2.9 trillion) in business opportunities, prompting a large number of domestic and international companies to invest heavily in this burgeoning field.
