Tao Yumin, Deputy President of Ningbo University Affiliated Kangning Hospital, and Zhou Dongsheng, Director of the Concept Verification Center for Non-invasive Precision Brain Modulation Technology and Diagnostic/Treatment Devices in Ningbo City and Director of Brain Health Research at Ningbo University Affiliated Kangning Hospital, attended the meeting.

Joining Hands to Pioneer a New Future in Brain-Computer Interface Rehabilitation

During the conference, the Clinical Translation Center for Brain-Computer Interface Neuromodulation in Psychiatric and Psychological Disorders, jointly established by Sunnyou Medical and Ningbo University Affiliated Kangning Hospital, was officially unveiled!

Following its establishment, the center will engage in comprehensive collaboration with the provincial key laboratory led by Director Zhou Dongsheng’s team at Ningbo University Affiliated Kangning Hospital. Focusing on brain-computer interface (BCI) neural systems, the partnership will foster industry-academia-research cooperation to build a closed-loop system encompassing “R&D, translation, and implementation of outcomes.” This initiative aims to accelerate the clinical application and translational outcomes of BCI neuromodulation technologies in the field of psychiatric and psychological disorders, while exploring novel diagnostic and therapeutic approaches that are non-invasive, precise, and efficient.

Looking ahead, Sunnyou Medical will continue to deepen its innovation in brain-computer interface (BCI) and neuromodulation technologies, collaborate with more leading medical institutions, build an integrated ecosystem of industry, academia, research, and clinical practice, promote the in-depth application of BCI technology in rehabilitation medicine, and contribute to the development of China’s rehabilitation sector.
