Recently, the National Medical Products Administration approvedShineyoMedical“Adjustable-Curved Pulmonary Artery Embolectomy Stent System"Registration Application for Innovative Products."

This product is available in steerable and coated types.Composed of a thrombectomy stent catheter, an aspiration catheter, and accessories.Indicated for catheter-based thrombectomy in patients with acute high-risk pulmonary embolism or intermediate-risk pulmonary embolism accompanied by clinical deterioration, who meet any of the following criteria: (1) presence of thrombus in the main pulmonary artery or its major branches, with high bleeding risk or contraindications to thrombolysis; (2) presence of thrombus in the main pulmonary artery or its major branches, with failure of thrombolysis or aggressive medical therapy.

Since the beginning of this year, a total of 13 Class III innovative medical devices have been approved for market launch in Shanghai, with 10 of them originating from Zhangjiang Science City.
