Sanofi Announces Greater China Organizational Restructuring

On the evening of June 16, Sanofi announced updates regarding the organizational structure of its Greater China region. Notably, there have been some changes to the Sanofi General Medicines Global Business Unit and Sanofi Pasteur, which have drawn considerable attention. Here is a brief overview to share with you all.

Specifically, effective June 16, He Enting, former General Manager and President of Sanofi's Established Products Global Business Unit in China, and Zhang Heping, General Manager of Sanofi Pasteur China, will become the heads of their respective Greater China divisions.

Kelly Lam, General Manager and Head of the Hong Kong and Taiwan Region, Global Generics Business Unit, Sanofi Greater China, will report directly to Thomas Ho, Head of Greater China, Global Generics Business Unit, and President of Sanofi Greater China.

Philip Ho, General Manager of Sanofi Pasteur for China's Hong Kong and Taiwan regions, will report directly to Heping Zhang, Head of Sanofi Pasteur Greater China.

According to Damei, the organizational structure of Sanofi China Genzyme and Sanofi China Consumer Healthcare currently remains unchanged.

Zhang Heping joined Sanofi Pasteur in 2018 as General Manager for China, having previously served as Head of the General Medicines Business Unit, Greater China at Takeda.

Dami has previously introduced this industry executive. He began his career as a medical representative and steadily advanced through the ranks, serving at several renowned multinational pharmaceutical companies such as Pfizer and Takeda. With extensive experience across multiple therapeutic areas and robust leadership and management expertise, he ultimately joined Sanofi Pasteur, a global leader in vaccines.
