AstraZeneca's Durvalumab Nears New Indication Approval in China for Small Cell Lung Cancer

According to a query on the official website of China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA), the marketing authorization application for a new indication of durvalumab injection (durvalumab, brand name: Imfinzi), a blockbuster PD-L1 inhibitor developed by AstraZeneca, has entered the "under review" stage. This indicates that the product is expected to receive approval for the new indication in China in the near future. Publicly available information shows that the new indication under application is small cell lung cancer (SCLC).
