Today, a public notice from the CDE indicates that two applications for Pfizer's lorlatinib tablets have been included in the proposed priority review program for the intended treatment of specific patients with ALK-positive locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). According to public information, lorlatinib (Lorbrena) is a third-generation ALK inhibitor. The drug has previously been granted Breakthrough Therapy designation and Priority Review status by the FDA, and has been approved in the United States for the treatment of various types of ALK-positive metastatic NSCLC.
