Recently, according to information on the official website of the National Healthcare Security Administration, after the issuance of the "Notice on Carrying Out Pilot Work for Real-World Comprehensive Value Evaluation of Healthcare Security," many medical institutions expressed a strong willingness to participate in the comprehensive value evaluation of healthcare security during the advancement of the pilot work, hoping to establish a network to better engage in the evaluation process.
Following independent applications by medical institutions, provincial and municipal recommendations, and comprehensive research, 79 medical institutions, including Peking University People's Hospital, have initiated the establishment of the first national trusted evaluation network for real-world comprehensive value assessment in medical insurance. Under the guidance of the medical insurance authorities, they jointly formulated the "Convention of the National Trusted Evaluation Network for Real-World Comprehensive Value Assessment in Medical Insurance" (hereinafter referred to as the "Convention").
On January 16, 2026, under the witness of the medical insurance department and other parties, the first batch of 79 national trusted evaluation points collectively signed a convention at the National Healthcare Security Administration, publicly committing to take the initiative in assuming the responsibility of credible evaluation, establishing a scientific and rigorous work style, complying with the relevant norms and requirements of the medical insurance department regarding comprehensive value evaluation of medical insurance, and actively undertaking tasks related to the comprehensive value evaluation of national medical insurance as needed.
In the future, members of the Trusted Evaluation Network will take the lead in conducting a series of comprehensive value evaluations for medical insurance based on the needs and application scenarios of medical insurance decision-making. The medical insurance departments also welcome cooperation with all sectors of society, including institutions such as the National Trusted Evaluation Point, to carry out research, allowing more credible research results to support scientific decision-making in medical insurance, jointly promoting the scientization of medical insurance, and contributing to the development of new quality productivity.
At the same time, the National Healthcare Security Administration released the full text of the convention and the list of the first batch of members to the public.
