Kosel Medical's Innovative Vena Cava Filter Receives NMPA Approval

Recently, upon review, the National Medical Products Administration approved the registration of the innovative product "vena cava filter" manufactured by Kossel Medtech (Suzhou) Co., Ltd.

This product consists of a filter and a delivery system. The filter is percutaneously deployed via a transfemoral or transjugular venous approach for the prevention of pulmonary embolism (PE) caused by the dislodgement of emboli from the inferior vena cava system.

This product is the first domestically produced retrievable vena cava filter featuring an umbrella-shaped design. With a retrieval window of up to 3 months, it ensures thorough thrombus filtration, improves the filter retrieval rate, and provides more options for clinical treatment.
