Novartis Secukinumab Injection Approved in China for Pediatric and Adult Plaque Psoriasis

On August 16, the official website of the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) announced that Novartis's secukinumab injection has received marketing approval for the treatment of moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis in adults and pediatric patients aged 6 years and older weighing ≥50 kg who are candidates for systemic therapy or phototherapy. This drug is currently the first and only interleukin inhibitor approved in China for the treatment of pediatric and adolescent psoriasis.
