Recently, Vivolight has completed a new round of financing totaling several hundred million RMB. This funding round was co-led by China US Green Yangtze River Delta and Efung Capital, with participation from BOC Capital and Huiyu Investment. The proceeds will be primarily used for the global commercial deployment of the company's core products, as well as for the research, development, registration, and clinical advancement of its innovative pipeline, further solidifying Vivolight's strategic position in the field of intelligent interventions.
As the demand for cardiovascular and pan-vascular disease diagnosis and treatment in China continues to rise, the coronary and peripheral vascular intervention market is accelerating towards greater precision, intelligence, and systemization. With the increasing prevalence of complex lesions such as in-stent restenosis, chronic total occlusions (CTO), and moderate-to-severe calcification, traditional diagnostic and treatment models that rely on single devices or single imaging modalities are no longer sufficient to meet the rising clinical requirements for precise assessment, personalized treatment, and efficacy validation. The industry is shifting from "single-product competition" to "integrated diagnostic and therapeutic solution competition."
In response to this trend, Vivolight is undergoing a comprehensive transformation from a company historically represented by its intracavitary imaging technology into an intelligent interventional device company. Built upon its foundational expertise in laser and multi-energy platform technologies, Vivolight focuses on complex coronary and peripheral vascular lesions. It is developing an AI-empowered, integrated intelligent intervention solution covering diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation, striving to become a globally competitive platform company in the field of complex pan-vascular lesions.
On the diagnostic front, Vivolight has established a systematic framework encompassing OCT imaging systems, catheter consumables, and OCT-FFR functional software, while continuously advancing higher-dimensional imaging technologies and intelligent analytics capabilities. Leveraging years of accumulated expertise in imaging, data, and algorithms, Vivolight is driving interventional diagnosis from merely "visible" to "clear visualization, accurate assessment, and smarter decision support." Currently, Vivolight ranks among the leading domestic manufacturers in the coronary OCT market segment in China. Its products have been adopted by over 300 hospitals across the country, and following FDA clearance, the company is accelerating its international commercial expansion.

On the treatment front, Vivolight is actively building a portfolio of laser and multi-energy therapeutic devices tailored to the treatment needs of complex lesions, driving the commercial deployment of innovative therapeutic products. The underlying core technologies have demonstrated significant advantages in clinical studies. Notably, the world's first randomized controlled trial (RCT) on 355nm cold laser technology has provided high-level evidence-based medical proof, validating its breakthrough potential and clinical value in the treatment of complex lesions.
On the assessment front, leveraging its comprehensive product portfolio and accumulated AI capabilities, Vivolight is accelerating the integration of diagnosis, treatment, and post-procedural assessment into a closed loop, driving the evolution of interventional diagnosis and treatment from "experience-driven" to "data-driven and intelligently assisted" practice. Through the synergy of hardware and software, algorithmic empowerment, and multi-product integration, the company aims to build a total solution covering pre-procedural assessment, intra-procedural decision-making, and post-procedural evaluation. This will provide physicians with more efficient and precise clinical tools, while offering patients a safer and more beneficial treatment experience.
Vivolight stated that the completion of this financing round will not only further enhance the company's capabilities in core product commercialization and innovative research and development, but also mark a new phase in its strategic upgrade. Going forward, Vivolight will remain committed to being driven by clinical needs, continuously deepening original innovation, and advancing the deep integration of core technologies such as laser, multi-energy, artificial intelligence, and intracavitary imaging. The company will accelerate the development of an intelligent interventional device platform for complex coronary and peripheral vascular lesions, propelling China's innovative interventional solutions to the global stage and benefiting a broader patient population.
