On August 25, 2021, the signing and unveiling ceremony for the first interventional surgical robot R&D center co-established by Shanghai Jiao Tong University and HuiHe Healthcare was held at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, making Shanghai Jiao Tong University HuiHe Healthcare's exclusive strategic partner in the field of surgical robots!

This marks HuiHe Healthcare's further strategic deployment in the medical robotics sector. Leveraging the extensive research achievements and academic foundation of the Robotics Institute at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, HuiHe Healthcare will advance the intelligent development of its mechanized cardiovascular interventional devices, achieving innovative breakthroughs in surgical robotic technology for cardiovascular interventions.

Xi Lifeng, Vice President of Shanghai Jiao Tong University; Zhu Xiangyang, Director of the State Key Laboratory of Mechanical System and Vibration and Director of the Robotics Institute; Hu Yongxiang, Deputy Party Secretary of the School of Mechanical Engineering; Sheng Xinjun, Vice Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering; and Han Ting, Vice Dean of the School of Design, along with Lin Lin, Founder and CEO of HuiHe Healthcare (SJTU Class of 1998); Xu Jun, Co-founder and CTO of HuiHe Healthcare (SJTU Class of 1996); Shen Jianwen, CFO of HuiHe Healthcare (SJTU Class of 1996); and Sun Min, Director of HuiHe Healthcare (SJTU Class of 1990), attended the groundbreaking ceremony for this strategic cooperation and the unveiling ceremony of the "Shanghai Jiao Tong University - HuiHe Healthcare" Joint R&D Center for Interventional Surgical Robots.

At the meeting, Lin Lin, Founder and CEO of HuiHe Healthcare, introduced the development history and core business of HuiHe Healthcare.

Lin Lin stated that HuiHe Healthcare's cardiovascular interventional products have already achieved safety, stability, and standardization. We have begun to further integrate "intelligent" capabilities to meet the demands for surgical planning, intraoperative traceability management, teleconsultation, and teaching and training. Preliminary work has already commenced. We look forward to collaborating with Jiao Tong University to continue deepening our efforts and empower our products with "intelligent intervention".

HuiHe Healthcare is a cardiovascular interventional platform company with over 200 employees, including more than 100 R&D personnel. Through proprietary products and clinical validation, it brings the innovative concept and technology of "single-sheath, dual-valve" to physicians, replicating open-heart surgery via a transvascular approach to address the minimally invasive surgical needs of patients with concomitant mitral and tricuspid valve disease, thereby helping patients regain a new lease on life.

Xi Lifeng, Vice President of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, introduced the academic foundation and achievements of the university's Robotics Research Institute. He expressed optimism toward HuiHe Healthcare, highlighting its deep commitment to technological R&D and localized innovation, and voiced full confidence in their collaboration. Vice President Xi hopes that through high-level industry-academia-research cooperation between Shanghai Jiao Tong University and HuiHe Healthcare, scientific and technological achievements will be effectively translated into practical applications, accelerating the commercialization of "intelligent medical devices."

The Institute of Robotics at Shanghai Jiao Tong University is one of the earliest professional institutions in China dedicated to robotics technology R&D. It boasts significant strengths in robotics, advanced electronic manufacturing, bio-mechatronic systems, industrial robots, special-purpose robots, electromechanical equipment, and automated production lines. The institute has undertaken 3 projects under the National 973 Program, 7 projects under the National 863 Program, and 14 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.

Xu Jun, Co-founder and CTO of HuiHe Healthcare, stated that multiple products in the cardiac and vascular intervention fields have successively entered clinical trials.
