Jean-Christophe Pointeau Appointed President of Pfizer Biopharma Group China

On September 1, Pfizer announced that Jean-Christophe Pointeau has officially assumed the role of President, China, Pfizer Biopharmaceuticals Group, and will join the Global Leadership Team of Pfizer Biopharmaceuticals. He will be based in Beijing and report directly to Angela Hwang, President of Pfizer Biopharmaceuticals Group.

With over 20 years of executive experience in multinational pharmaceutical corporations, Peng Zhenke has successively served as President, China Region for two major multinational pharmaceutical companies over the past decade. From 2018 to 2019, as Chairman of the R&D-based Pharmaceutical Association Committee (RDPAC) under the China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment, he led a series of initiatives advancing the "Healthy China" strategy.
