Mr. Stout brings over 25 years of leadership experience in the public health and biopharmaceutical industries. Through the development of strategic commercial plans and the establishment of key infrastructure, he has facilitated rapid access to critical therapies for U.S. patients across a wide range of disease areas, particularly for infectious diseases.

Prior to joining Brii Biosciences, Mr. Stout served as Vice President of U.S. Commercial and Market Access, responsible for managing Gilead Sciences’ key federal business. During his 17-year tenure, he held key leadership positions at Gilead, including overseeing commercial and market access, and worked closely with government affairs and policy teams to inform product planning initiatives. In addition to his experience in drug coverage, innovative payment models, and patient support programs, Mr. Stout led market access and commercialization efforts for the launch of over 30 products. As a lifelong advocate for patient care, he also holds a social work certification and has managed teams in community settings, dedicating his efforts to supporting patients living with HIV/AIDS.
