Hansoh Pharmaceutical Establishes Global R&D Headquarters in Shanghai's Zhangjiang Science City

China Economic Net, October 15: On October 12, Hansoh Pharmaceutical Group Company Limited (3692.HK) and Zhangjiang Park signed an agreement on the Hansoh Pharma Global R&D Headquarters project. As a major project of the park, the on-site signing ceremony was held at the opening ceremony of the Shanghai International Biopharma Industry Week – “Zhangjiang Life Sciences International Innovation Summit”.
As one of the earliest domestic innovative pharmaceutical companies to take root in Zhangjiang, Pudong, Hansoh Pharma established Shanghai Hansoh Biomedical Co., Ltd. in Zhangjiang in 2011. The Hansoh Pharma biologics R&D center and the Hansoh Pharma global headquarters building, both located in the Zhangjiang Park, have also been successively put into operation. The establishment of this global R&D headquarters project marks another milestone in Hansoh Pharma’s deepened strategic layout for innovative drug R&D and industrialization, and represents a critical step in its global expansion. Currently, Hansoh Pharma has established R&D centers in Maryland, USA, as well as in Shanghai and Lianyungang, China, continuously enhancing the company's international innovation origination capability.
