(Reporter: Ma Yingjie) Recently, the 2026 Langfang Municipal Rehabilitation Medicine Quality Control Work Conference, the Annual Meeting of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Branch of the Municipal Medical Association, and the Advanced Training Course on Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy, jointly organized by the Municipal Rehabilitation Medicine Quality Control Center and the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Branch of the Municipal Medical Association and hosted by Hebei CNPC Central Hospital, concluded. Experts and scholars in the field of rehabilitation medicine from the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region gathered to delve into cutting-edge technologies, deepen academic exchanges, and foster industry-academia-research integration, comprehensively advancing the standardized and high-quality development of the rehabilitation medicine sector in Langfang City.

It is reported that Hebei China Petroleum Central Hospital, the first "Clinical Research and Translation Center for Non-Invasive Brain-Computer Interfaces" in Hebei Province, has consistently upheld its mission of driving technological innovation in regional rehabilitation medicine, achieving scientific breakthroughs, and leading industry development. By deeply fostering the integration of industry, academia, and research, the hospital is fully committed to overcoming challenges in technology translation and cultivating distinctive strengths in rehabilitation medicine. At the conference, Hebei China Petroleum Central Hospital and Henan`Sunnyou`Xiangyu Medical Co., Ltd. officially signed the 《Brain-Computer Interface Rehabilitation Technology Innovation Consortium》 and the 《Industry-Academia-Research Strategic Cooperation Agreement》. Concurrently, the three major platforms—the “Non-Invasive Brain-Computer Interface Clinical Research and Translation Center”, the “China-Europe Cooperative Clinical Education and Training Base for Piezoelectric Shockwave Therapy”, and the “Henan Provincial Brain-Computer Interface Rehabilitation Equipment Technology Innovation Center”—were officially established in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine of the hospital. The successful conclusion of this strategic cooperation has established a comprehensive and in-depth collaborative framework, creating a closed-loop pathway for cutting-edge rehabilitation medicine technologies from scientific research and development to clinical application, and injecting strong momentum into the technological upgrade of regional rehabilitation healthcare, the quality enhancement of academic research, and the cultivation of specialized professionals.

During the academic exchange session, leading experts from several renowned hospitals both within and outside the province, including the Third Hospital of Hebei Medical University, Beijing Tiantan Hospital, and Xingtai People's Hospital, delivered specialized lectures on cutting-edge topics such as the clinical application of non-invasive brain-computer interfaces and standardized extracorporeal shock wave therapy. They shared the latest research achievements, clinical diagnostic and therapeutic experiences, and industry development trends. The conference concurrently featured distinctive sessions, including practical demonstrations, interactive Q&A, and hands-on instruction, achieving a deep integration of theoretical teaching and clinical practice. This framework established a systematic and practice-oriented training system, effectively enhancing the professional technical competencies of the attendees.

Ning Kaiyi, Chief of the Medical Administration Section of the Municipal Health Commission, stated that this annual conference marks an important new starting point for the high-quality development of rehabilitation medicine in our city. It provides a high-quality platform for the municipal rehabilitation medicine sector to connect with advanced technologies in China, deepen cross-regional industry-academia-research collaboration, and address shortcomings in disciplinary development. Grounded in pressing clinical needs, focused on technological frontiers, and highlighting the integration of industry, academia, research, and application, the conference features practical content, innovative formats, and strong targeted relevance. It fully demonstrates the development momentum of our city's rehabilitation medicine sector, characterized by pioneering innovation and collaborative advancement.
