The 2026 European Association for the Study of the Liver Congress (EASL Congress 2026) will be held in Barcelona, Spain, from May 27 to 30. Hosted by the European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL), the congress is one of the largest and most academically prestigious annual events in the field of hepatology globally, bringing together thousands of leading hepatology researchers, clinicians, and industry experts worldwide each year for academic exchange. Research results on hepatic fat and liver metabolic parameters from the completed Phase II clinical trial of DR10624 for severe hypertriglyceridemia, an independently developed long-acting tri-specific agonist targeting FGF21R/GCGR/GLP-1R by Zhejiang Doer Biologics Co., Ltd. ("Doer Biologics"), a controlled subsidiary of Huadong Medicine Co., Ltd., will be officially presented to the global audience in poster format at this congress.

Presentation Format: Poster
Abstract Number: FRI-156
Exhibition Date: May 29, 2026 (Friday) 08:30-17:00 (Central European Summer Time)
About DR10624
DR10624 is an innovative fusion protein developed based on Doer Biologics' proprietary MultipleBody® (multi-domain) technology platform. The molecule fuses an FGF21 analogue and a dual-acting GCG/GLP-1 hybrid peptide to the Fc region of a human IgG1 antibody, enabling simultaneous activation of the fibroblast growth factor 21 receptor (FGF21R), glucagon receptor (GCGR), and glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor (GLP-1R) to achieve multi-dimensional synergistic intervention in glucose and lipid metabolism, energy balance, and hepatic fat deposition. Clinical trials for DR10624 were approved in New Zealand in April 2022 and in China in July 2023, respectively. In addition to completing the Phase II clinical study for SHTG, multiple Phase II clinical trials for MASLD and DKD are currently being advanced concurrently.
The multiple benefits of DR10624 in hepatic fat deposition and systemic metabolic regulation have now been granted Breakthrough Therapy Designation by the Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE) of the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA), and its first Phase III clinical trial (for the SHTG indication) has been initiated. This product is expected to provide a more comprehensive and highly effective therapeutic regimen for patients with severe hypertriglyceridemia (SHTG), mixed hyperlipidemia, and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH). Doer Biologics will continue to advance the clinical development of DR10624, striving to deliver more effective and integrated treatment options for patients.
The presentation of DR10624 research findings at EASL 2026 marks a further enhancement of the international academic influence of this innovative pipeline in the fields of liver diseases and metabolic disorders, and highlights Doer Biologics' sustained innovation capabilities in the research and development of novel drugs for complex metabolic diseases.
