Minimally Invasive Brain Science(02172) announced that on May 28, 2026, the Company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, MicroPort NeuroTech (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (“MicroPort NeuroTech Shanghai”), entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with OYMotion Technology Co., Ltd. (“OYMotion”). Pursuant to the strategic cooperation agreement, MicroPort NeuroTech Shanghai and OYMotion will leverage their respective technological and industrial advantages to promote the deep integration of brain-computer interfaces (BCI) and exoskeleton robot systems, engage in long-term R&D cooperation, explore potential application scenarios, and jointly advance the commercialization of cutting-edge brain science technologies. The Group will focus on the technological research and development, product design, and commercialization of brain-computer interfaces, while OYMotion will focus on providing high-performance and highly compatible exoskeleton robot equipment and intelligent control solutions. Through technological synergy and resource integration, the contracting parties will jointly enhance the functionality, performance, and practicality of the brain-computer interface systems.
Through this collaboration, the Group and OYMotion aim to jointly advance the innovative application of brain-computer interface (BCI) technology in the fields of medical rehabilitation and human-machine interaction. By leveraging the Group's strengths in the research and development, clinical translation, and commercialization of brain science technologies, alongside OYMotion's capabilities in high-performance, highly compatible exoskeleton robotic devices and intelligent control solutions, the Parties seek to continuously optimize the functionality, performance, and user experience of BCI systems. Through a deeply integrated industry-academia-research-application model, the Parties are committed to delivering high-quality innovative solutions for brain diseases and contributing to the holistic development of the brain science ecosystem.
The Board is of the opinion that the Strategic Cooperation Agreement was entered into in the ordinary and usual course of business of the Group on normal commercial terms and is in the interests of the Group and the Shareholders of the Company as a whole.
