(Chia Tai Tianqing), have been released for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B (CHB).

The results of two Phase 3 clinical trials, B-Well 1 (NCT05630807) and B-Well 2 (NCT05630820), were concurrently published in the *New England Journal of Medicine* and presented at the 2026 European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL) Congress. Regional subgroup data were also presented in an oral report at EASL. Specifically, data from the China subgroup demonstrated a functional cure rate of 24% in subjects with HBsAg ≤3000 IU/mL, and a functional cure rate of 35% in subjects with HBsAg ≤1000 IU/mL.

Bepirovirsen is currently under regulatory review and approval in China (included in the Breakthrough Therapy Drug and Priority Review and Approval programs), the United States (granted Priority Review, Breakthrough Therapy, and Fast Track designations), Europe, and Japan (granted the SENKU designation). GSK expects to receive a regulatory decision from China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) in the first half of 2027, with preparations for market launch currently underway.
