Nanjing, Shanghai and San Francisco, November 10, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- IASO Bio, a clinical-stage innovative biopharmaceutical company dedicated to the development and commercialization of cell therapies and antibody drugs, announced today that it will present the latest Phase 1/2 registrational clinical study results of its fully human autologous B-cell Maturation Antigen (BMCA) Chimeric Antigen Receptor Autologous T-cell (CAR-T) therapy (IASO Bio R&D code: CT103A, Innovent Bio R&D code: IBI326), co-developed with Innovent Bio (stock code: 01801 on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange), in an oral presentation at the 63rd American Society of Hematology (ASH) Annual Meeting 2021 (Abstract number: 547).

This oral presentation will showcase the latest clinical data from the Phase 1/2 clinical study (ChiCTR1800018137) of CT103A in treating relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM) across 13 centers, including more comprehensive safety and efficacy results with a longer follow-up period and a larger number of subjects, as well as the pharmacokinetic data of CT103A.

Currently, the investigator-initiated (IIT) clinical study of CT103A in China -- a single-center, open-label Phase I clinical study evaluating the safety and efficacy of CT103A cell infusion for the treatment of relapsed/refractory plasma cell tumors -- has completed at least two years of follow-up for 23 patients post-infusion. The registered clinical study -- a Phase Ib/II clinical trial (ChiCTR1800018137) of fully human BCMA chimeric antigen receptor autologous T-cell injection (CT103A) for the treatment of relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM) -- is currently ongoing. In addition to multiple myeloma, IASO Bio has taken the lead in initiating research on CT103A for autoimmune diseases. The non-registered clinical study of CT103A for neuromyelitis optica has yielded positive results and has completed the pre-IND stage, with an anticipated IND submission for the treatment of autoimmune diseases by the end of 2021.
