On November 10, Kanghong Pharmaceutical announced that the generic version of Hydrobromide Vortioxetine Tablets had recently been approved for marketing by the National Medical Products Administration.

The company's Vortioxetine Hydrobromide Tablets were officially approved for production on November 5, 2021, and received the Drug Registration Certificate. Vortioxetine Hydrobromide Tablets were originally developed by Lundbeck and Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited. The drug has inhibitory effects on the 5-HT transporter (SERT), agonistic effects on the 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT1A) receptor, and antagonistic effects on the 5-HT3 receptor. It was first approved to enter China in 2017 and is used to treat adult depression.
