This round of financing was led by Lingjun Health Fund, with Ningbo Angel Guidance Fund participating in the investment.

 

This round of financing will be used for the industrialization of domestically produced high-strength absorbable sports medicine products, aiming to change the situation where such products in the sports medicine field have been completely reliant on imports for many years. Sports Medicine Mainly Used for Joint and Soft Tissue Injury Treatment and RehabilitationSports medicine is mainly used for the treatment and rehabilitation of joint and soft tissue related injuries. It can be widely applied in clinical settings to diseases of the shoulder, hip, knee joints, as well as small joint conditions. In the context of a nationwide fitness movement, sports medicine has become the fastest-growing and most promising branch in the field of orthopedics. The market for sports medicine products is rapidly expanding with a compound annual growth rate of over 20%. The market size reached 3.9 billion yuan in 2021 and is expected to reach 6 billion yuan for implants and supporting tools by 2025.

 

Absorbable sports medicine products address issues such as the inability of traditional sports medicine devices to undergo MRI examinations, difficulty in revision surgeries, permanent space occupation, stress concentration at anchor points, and imaging obstruction. In China, domestically produced absorbable orthopedic products have been used clinically since 2004. However, the strength of all industrially produced absorbable orthopedic products in China is equivalent to that of simple injection-molded products, which is only 30% to 40% of imported products. This often leads to breakage during insertion and internal fixation failure, significantly limiting the clinical application of domestically produced absorbable orthopedic products.

 

After a decade of technical research and process exploration, the core team of Bairui ShengwuKeji has developed products with strength comparable to imported ones, and some mechanical properties are about 20% higher than imported products.
