Gelonghui November 28th丨Grand Pharmaceutical Group Limited (00512.HK) announced,Grand Pharmaceutical Group Limited has reached a strategic cooperation agreement with InnovHeart S.r.l. for equity investment and product introduction. The Group will acquire approximately 17.8% equity interest in InnovHeart and the exclusive development, production, and commercialization rights of the globally innovative medical device Saturn for mitral valve replacement in Greater China (Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan) at a cost of approximately 43.8 million euros. The closing of this equity investment and the fulfillment of the licensing agreement are still subject to the review by relevant Italian government agencies for foreign investment and technology introduction.

Saturn is another globally innovative product achieved by the Group in the field of precision intervention, following drug-coated balloons for coronary and peripheral vascular interventions, neuro-interventional thrombectomy stents, vascular and intracavitary diagnostic devices, laser ablation platforms, and heart failure treatment systems. This strategic cooperation also represents an important step for the Group in building a world-leading precision interventional diagnosis and treatment platform for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.

Thus, the Group has successfully achieved a comprehensive layout of innovative products in six directions within this field, smoothly and timely completing the development planning goals set at the beginning of the year. It has become one of the companies with the widest product layout and the most comprehensive disease coverage in the field of precision cardiovascular and cerebrovascular interventional diagnosis and treatment.

InnovHeart, located in Italy, is a medical device company focused on the development of innovative transcatheter mitral valve interventional treatment systems. Dedicated to providing innovative treatment options for patients with valvular diseases, its founding team has over a decade of profound experience in the field of heart valve disease and extensive expertise in product development. The core product of InnovHeart, Saturn, is implanted through a trans-septal approach, minimizing surgical trauma and reducing postoperative recovery time. It innovatively combines annuloplasty with valve replacement technology, enhancing device adaptability and making it suitable for various common mitral valve structures. The introduction of the Saturn product will hopefully enable Chinese patients with mitral regurgitation to access one of the most advanced transcatheter mitral valve replacement therapies available globally.

In the future, the Group will continue to adopt the development path of "introducing and localizing" and "synchronizing domestic independent research and development," establishing a dual system of local + global R&D and production. While accelerating the market entry of innovative products, it will also enhance its own R&D capabilities, further promote the development of a global platform, and "spend ten years honing a sword" to build this sector into a leading "precision cardiovascular and cerebrovascular intervention and diagnosis platform" in China and even globally.

Grand Pharmaceutical Group Limited adheres to the core principle of meeting patient needs, driven by technological innovation. By adopting a "global operational layout and dual-circulation business development" strategy, the group focuses on unmet clinical needs, increasing investment in global innovative products and advanced technologies to enrich and refine its product pipeline and industrial layout. The group has established a "two bombs, one satellite" innovation strategy across three key strategic areas: precision interventional cardiology and neurology diagnosis and treatment, radiopharmaceuticals and gene interventional oncology treatment, and antiviral and anti-infective critical care. It is committed to building an internationally leading precision interventional platform, developing into a world-class radiopharmaceutical and gene interventional oncology platform, as well as becoming a technology leader in severe anti-infective treatments.
