Hao Hai Bio-Pharmaceutical's Subsidiary Receives Medical Device Registration Approval for Heparin-Coated Aspheric Intraocular Lens

Gelonghui November 30th丨Haohai Biological Technology (688366.SH) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Henan Universe Intraocular Lens Research Co., LTD. ("Henan Universe"), has recently received the "Medical Device Registration Certificate of the People's Republic of China" issued by the National Medical Products Administration for its heparin surface-treated aspheric intraocular lens product.

This product is the first domestically produced hydrophilic heparin surface-treated aspheric intraocular lens approved in China.TheThe product is made of hydrophilic acrylic material, and the entire surface of the intraocular lens is treated with heparin, which increases the lubricity of the product and facilitates surgical implantation. Clinical studies have shown that, in terms of safety, heparin-modified intraocular lenses have better biocompatibility compared to non-heparin-modified intraocular lenses, with minimal postoperative inflammatory response.
