Janssen China and AmoyDx Enter Strategic Collaboration to Advance Precision Medicine and Patient-Centric Care

BeijingDecember 5, 2021 /PR Newswire/ -- Today, Janssen China signed a Memorandum of Strategic Cooperation with Amoy Diagnostics Co. LTD. Through this collaboration, Janssen China will partner with the local diagnostics company to drive an innovative pharmaceutical ecosystem, aiming to continuously optimize the entire lifecycle of medicines, empower comprehensive patient management, improve patient outcomes, and contribute to the "Healthy China 2030" initiative.

According to the Memorandum of Strategic Cooperation, both companies will jointly create an end-to-end collaborative innovation service model, covering market access, physician-patient education, the development of new biomarkers, and the establishment of big data platforms. This collaboration will further empower the whole-course management of patients, enhancing the accessibility of companion diagnostics and accelerating patient reimbursement, while further optimizing diagnostics in key targeted therapeutic areas of Janssen, such as lung cancer and urothelial carcinoma. Additionally, under pilot policies related to the approval of innovative drugs and medical devices, such as the "Hong Kong-Macau Drug and Device Access Policy," both companies will actively explore and promote the access of innovative treatment solutions, benefiting patients as early as possible by providing them with more treatment options.
