Jiahui International Cancer Center and Fosun Kite Forge Strategic Partnership to Establish Standardized CAR-T Therapy Services and Innovative Payment Models

Shanghai, December 8, 2021 /PR Newswire/ --December 7, from June 22China's First CAR-Nearly six months after the approval and market launch of the T-cell therapy drug (Axicabtagene Ciloleucel Injection), Shanghai Jiahui International Hospital officially signed the "CAR-T Project Strategic Cooperation Agreement" with Fosun Kite. Both parties reached a consensus and established an in-depth cooperation on clinical research, academic exchange, treatment procedures, and innovative payment models. This strategic cooperation marks that the Shanghai Jiahui International Cancer Center, with the strong support of Fosun Kite, will become one of the first medical institutions in China to carry out the CAR-T project and is capable of providing CAR-T treatment services to relevant patients.

CAR-T (Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-Cell Therapy), or "Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-Cell Therapy," is a novel precision treatment for cancer.As the first CAR-T drug approved for marketing in ChinaAxicabtagene Ciloleucel Injection is used to treat adult patients with relapsed or refractory large B-cell lymphoma who have received two or more lines of systemic therapy.
