Former Roche Neuroscience and Rare Diseases R&D Head Bob Baloh Joins Novartis as Global Head of Neuroscience at NIBR

Recently, it was reported that Bob Baloh, Vice President and Global Head of Neuroscience and Rare Diseases Research at Roche's Pharmaceutical Research and Early Development Division, has joined Novartis as the Global Head of Neuroscience Diseases at the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR).

It is reported that Baloh has worked at Roche for a year. Prior to that, he worked at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in California for nearly a decade.

At Novartis, Baloh will help address setbacks faced by the research industry, including many diseases and disorders in areas of unresolved questions in human biology.
